You cannot change their opinion. They do not accept when they are wrong, or five ground to common knowledge on this board. Oddly, I find common ground with co-worker and in social situations where they see this lack of movement as poison.

Let them have it.  Heck, consider any idea the left is presenting, offer a solution that is not lockstep with their ideals, and you will see their true face. It's a second coming of the brown shirts, as we already see on campuses.

They want diversity, but not diversity of thought.
