You all want to claim they are fringe extremists but when the leader of your Party embraces and celebrates them, they are the mainstream. The Republican Party is controlled by this "fringe". No one in the party dares to speak out against them lest they risk being labeled a RINO.
Even those who claim to oppose Trump all fall in line because they fear the "MAGA base.
The acceptance of these people, instead of denouncing them, simply because you supposedly agree with the policies of the party is what has driven Republicans to where they are now. They control the party not these so-called holding their nose folks.
The difference is that you hear Democrats criticize Biden. You don't have the Party walking in lockstep with his policies. You hear criticism of the extremes. You hear none of that from Republicans about Trump
