Bi-partisan Immigration Bill

They have cried invasion and open boarders for years. Then they get a chance to work on a solution to the problem, debate, and improve a bipartisan bill that would address the issue they say is destroying the country. And they thumbed their nose at us. It's their job.

It’s freaking May. Either the problem isn’t as bad as they are constantly crying about or they don’t give a shit about our problems they are only in it for themselves.

Since when has either side wanted to do something that Might make the other look good?

Anyways, the bill isn't that great, yes it gives POTUS power to close the border if a threshold is reached. Problem is, it's not a complete shutdown, still have to keep letting people in that meet "criteria" and you and i know that everyone will say whatever to meet that criteria, so it's rather stupid. But the first part makes for a great selling point.

Next, do you really want them spending $1B upgrading the detention centers? The purpose should be to LOWER the numbers coming in, vs making room for more.
