May stats: batting .207 for the month of MAY!! He was hovering around .280-.300 at end of April. One HR in May - 1 In one of the HR friendliest ball parks in MLB. Five RBI's and an OPS of .591 with 36 strike outs.

Don't get me wrong the guy has single handedly won us games this season. And he's still very young. And I still believe he's a super star in the making.

What's baffling is he's right in the team funk with all the rest of them. Next to last team batting average in all of MLB .216  

I think this season is just one gigantic sophomore slump.

It doesn't help that half the offense has been injured as well.
