That's not how the word works. That is just a 1 year team option, which is very much not the same thing as guaranteed money.
And if he has a good season(like he usually has) the FO will be paying 47 million dollars guaranteed money for two seasons along with two outstanding cap hits as well. This is if they franchise tag him twice!
