Awful baserunning cost Reds Game 2 and the series against Boston. Those are mental mistakes, and hard to accept losses due to not having their heads in the game. A very good high school coach who won State, would pull players out of games as punishment for mental mistakes. He said physical mistakes are going to happen, but mental mistakes or having your head up your rear end need some form of punishment. The baserunning Saturday by Reds lost that game. De La Cruz caught between 2nd and 3rd was a mental mistake. The Red who didn't slide and tagged out going into home standing up was a huge mental mistake.
