While I can certainly support limiting money in politics, it's just a little odd to me that the only PAC drawing the ire of these people is a pro-Israel PAC. Especially given the clear antisemitism of Omar and Tlaib
It's pretty odious, but trying to primary an opponent for a weaker candidate has been going on with both parties for a while now. Not sure how you would separate or moderate that from perfectly legitimate support. Nor do I oppose the other party contributing to someone they are more ideologically aligned with. Although it does wreak of election interference when it's a primary.
Campaign finance money in general is a huge, toxic waste. But it's all or nothing - if you're going to let powerful unions wield influence and contribute vast sums of money, then corporations and people with competing interests should be able to do the same.
