I have already posted a video that highlights plenty of black accomplishments.

However here is a list of names for you:

Benjamin Banaker
George Washington Carver
Thomas Jennings
George Crum - though the customer should get credit for his invention.  Since it was the customer that wanted thin french fries.

That should do to get started.  I can list more.
