2. Did splurging in free agency cause the Bucs to fall apart? I think it was the opposite. The Bucs fell apart (due to poor drafting), then they began looking to FA to solve all their problems. You can't fix a bad team through FA, but you can add pieces to a good team to put them over the top.

All I was doing was pointing out that the question was not phrased properly.  No one is going to disagree that it worked for the Broncos, but that is not the proper question.
