I don't have an issue with progressive taxation.
I do have an issue with uncompetitive marginal corporate tax rates. For starters, corporate taxes are only 10% of revenues. And we are talking double and triple taxation - all the profits eventually end-up with individuals where it will be taxed (except when money remains overseas, again, because of tax rates/double taxation).
So knock down the corporate rates to be more competitive and it eliminates the incentive for this behavior. Offset it by increasing cap gains and top marginal rates on individuals.
Really a pretty simple solution, but then politicians wouldn't have "evil" corporations to demagogue.
