No it isn't.
Plus there are more single parent and single adult households than married couple households. The number of adults in a household includes both parents and children over 18. That is what pushes the number closer to 2 adults per household.
Instead of all this bullshit manipulation why not just use the numbers from the Gallup poll you posted? 34% of adults own guns.
