Couple things.

1- The guy — as Dino already pointed out — isn't transgender, he's a sex offender. If the arrests are true (raping a child and a 27 year old woman), the guy is a sexual deviant and should not have been out of jail after 4 years. Or, in the case of raping a child, ever. Soooo... that's got nothing to do with arguing about transgender folks.

2- Who wears a bathing suit to bed?

3- A sign on a door doesn't stop a sexual offender. One of the local hospitals here has a problem with a guy who sneaks in and hides in the women's restroom, then peaks under the stalls. Or he hides in the ceiling. There's been numerous complaints. Security tries to keep an eye out for him. But the guy still manages to sneak in every few weeks and catch a glimpse of a nurse dropping a log.

Why? Because he's a sex offender, and a small plastic sign indicating he's of the wrong gender doesn't prohibit him from entering.

Transgender rights have nothing do to with sex offenders. That's like trying to equate laws for those in wheelchairs to driving codes because both have wheels.
