If Fredtoast and Michaelsean agree on something you can bet it is probably true.

Bring back unions would help the middle class some, but it is not going to change the fact that the world is evolving.  The UNited States will never have the advantages that we did in the 50's-60's.  It is not going to be as easy to succeed with out extensive training, education, or special skills.  The low skill jobs are all being replaced with machines and cheap overseas labor.

And tariffs are not the answer either.  Business is transacted ona world wide bases.  We can not isolate our economy from the world wide economy.  We are just going to have to adjust to it.
