As to the whole "free stuff" argument, it's not. It is paid for by the taxes that we pay. I'd much rather my taxes be used for healthcare, education and infrastructure in this country, rather than spending it in countries that our neo-con politicians think need to "fixed" so we can have their oil.
It absolutely is a "free stuff" argument because there's zero chance the government can afford it. Even with massive tax increases the debt will increase by trillions. BTW as someone who paid for their college education themselves, do I get free money from Bernie when he gets elected because I actually paid off my student loans?
