It would be baseless and fear mongering if you went back to my original post and then just ignored how sick/evil a lot of people are in the world, but it's happened a few times, so how is it fear mongering?!
It now has a base of a few examples of it actually happening, so how many more are acceptable before you consider it a problem?
Tying it into the transgender bathroom laws is absolutely baseless fear mongering. I have yet to see one example like this that would have been stopped by preventing trans people from using the bathroom of the gender with which they identify, nor one caused by allowing it. These events happened before, they just weren't click bait like they are now for people.
