It was simply a comment on our society in general and more pointedly, the responsibility of the parent. The fact that you presented an article that illustatrates that Troops getting wounded in combat is far down the list of public outrage this weekend to a zoo animal getting shot, further illustartes the main point but does nothing to address the more pointed matter.

Because you didn't even mention them.
