I actually had this debate with some black friends.  They said "they have nowhere to go".  I said "please, people cross the ocean with nothing to their name and make something of themselves....but people in the ghetto have no options?!?"

At that point, I got the "talk to the hand". I get that a lot when I present liberals with real logic.
