This is slightly inaccurate.
It's not talked about much except among lawyers, but a black social worker lobby has advocated for laws that either ban or make it more difficult for interracial adoption (white parents adopting black children) to occur.
They've been at it for decades, and have been successful in many cases. They're still at it.
