IMO Peerman, a valuable and consistent ST standout, played better in the Viking game than he did against the Lions. Why? I have no idea. Yes, I too like Burkhead and hope he continues to play well. I was thinking during the Lions game watching Peerman and wondered if he would have had better success had he been given the opportunity to run the same plays that Burkhead got in similar situations. It appeared to me that Peerman got only dive plays. Of course I could be wrong.
Otherwise, I agree that Peerman's play seems to have declined.
Sadly so has Hunt's (is that possible?) He couldn't get off a block if his life depended on it. I thought he was supposed to have exceptional upper body strength. It doesn't appear to be the case even against non-first team blockers,
