He said this in context of terrorist who justify their actions in the name of their religion. He said "We can say that they do not represent our religion and are not following the rules of our religion, but it's not our place to say they are not Muslims. Allah will judge them and what they have done in his name."
Likewise, it is not Lucie's place to say that someone isn't a Christian because they do not live up to his beliefs.

Just don't pretend your a christian and then do unchristian things.
Obama is a perfect example of a pretend christian.
