After that? He had 14 carries for 35 yards. The Bengals didn't abandon it at all. He just simply stopped producing.
Heck, they stuck with him 14 times at 2.5 YPC. It's not like they didn't give him a lot of chances, they were just falling into the same problem they did last week, where short runs put them in progressively less manageable downs.
That said, I like his today much much more than his previous two weeks, lets just not pretend one run was him "dominating" and the Bengals "abandoned it".
They were also running with an overloaded line on that first series. Much of the first half they had extra blockers. So much so that it got to the point you could look at the presnap line up and know what they were going to do. After the first series, he did a lot of nothing.
