That list pretty much says we haven't drafted a consistently solid defensive starter since 2012. Burfict and Illoka are the last ones. But before that we were hitting on ALOT of draft picks on D. Can someone remind me when Mike Zimmer left, because this isn't just dumb luck. From what I remember Zimmer was VERY hands on in the draft selection and most of our great picks were his picks
