Point is throughout the campaign both sides freely admitted their's was not a perfect candidate; however, one had to win. The Right won and the Left has not accepted it. They have questioned the Constitution, called for the EC to go against the will of those that voted, slurred the President Elect, and those that casted their vote for him. Althe while sitting atop of some fabricated high ground. 

Not sure who "the Left" is in your story. 

Trump called the system that produced his victory "rigged" and urged his supporters not to accept his loss if he lost, but to march on Washington.

Hillary has congratulated Trump on his win. Obama is working overtime to help a guy who knows nothing about government into the most complicated government job in the world.

Some people are demonstrating in the streets--understandably given the impending disaster. Civil rights/voting rights have obviously been dealt a blow. But Democratic leadership continues to behave like adults. No reason to expect that the Trump team would have. There is no "fabricated" high ground here.
