That is the way the system works.  That is the truth that some people try to hide.  It is impossible for everyone to have a high paying job no matter how hard everyone works. 

Assuming that is true, and, honestly, I'm inclined to agree with you, it is also true that even on minimum wage, it's possible to make ends meet. People (regardless if they are making minimum wage or not) need to start living within their means and start recognizing what are luxuries and what are essentials.

Then why raise minimum wage? I agree that not everyone can work a high-paying job, so why are we trying to make every job higher paying?
