She is right but so are you and JC. Progressives have taken over both parties. Just look at neocons..... They are the same as a democrat progressive. They only spend on a couple different things... The war on this board is between the many here who think they are liberal but are almost socialist in their beliefs. And there are many here.... Some even think they are libertarians.
Fact is the classic liberal and Classic conservative have much more in common than they do with any other group. As far as religious conservatives ... It depends on the way they want to govern... Do they want to force people to live by their beliefs only? If so that's very Teddy Roosevelt progressive. Mike Huckabee is a perfect example of this .... But if they want everyone to respect each other's rights to worship freely then they are more of a classic conservative/classic liberal.
