Manning was found guilty of espinoge against her country; I suppose folks can debate if that was treasonist or not.
As to the communication of the sentance. I don't have much of a problem with it; as she has already served 6 years and was not pardoned.

I was referring to Obama's commutation of the sentence being traitorous, as that was one of the reasons being used to call Obama a traitor. I consider Manning's actions to be traitorous, but not Obama's commutation. Much like you, since it wasn't a pardon, and because of my aforementioned reasons, I'm okay with it.
And yes, Manning is going to be rolling in money. She will capitalize on her story and make buttloads.
