I think Pittsburgh did this deal with DeCastro solely to screw over the Bengals. They knew that by setting the market to an outrageous number for guard, the Bengals would allow Zeitler to walk and therefore the team would be worse.
Just wait, next year you'll see DeCastro and the Steelers restructure the deal to be more in the ballpark of $8 mill a year
