No, I don't think she could have, but it's worth trying.
Furthermore, if she were fired, it would have (hopefully) exposed any racist/sexist/anti-Muslim attitudes from her superiors.

This going to be an occasion where I'm onboard with Bfine.
She quit and played the victim.
Mind you, I support her right to do as she wishes.
But, she had an opportunity to to so much more.
