Could the Bengals 1st round plan be as simple as OJ Howard?

If the guy they want isnt there at 9 and a trade down happens..I could see this. With a patchwork Oline they'll need some help anyways, so why not go get a TE? Yeah, Eifert is a beast when healthy, but he hasn't been too good at that. Is OJ a better blocker than Eifert? I'm rather uninspired about our back ups, Kroft did next to nothing last year, and Uzomah, while showing flashes, didn't perform very well either.

I get it though, we have too many glaring holes to fill for anyone to view OJH as anything more than a luxury pick. But if you take into concideration the weak Oline class of this year's draft, and the very real possibility of Eifert either getting hurt or leaving in FA next year..this move could make sence!
