Diplomatic Vandalism--Trump, Tillerson, Iran
#1
Bush and a Republican Congress trashed Clinton's North Korean Argreement.

Within four years Kim Jong-il had a nuke. How many does Jong-un have? 50+?

Now Trump is reconsidering the current Ian deal, though Iran is compliant, per this letter just sent by Tillerson to Ryan.

https://www.state.gov/secretary/remarks/2017/04/270315.htm

Dear Mr. Speaker:

This letter certifies that the conditions of Section 135(d)(6) of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 (AEA), as amended, including as amended by the Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 (Public Law 114-17), enacted May 22, 2015, are met as of April 18, 2017.

Notwithstanding, Iran remains a leading state sponsor of terror
through many platforms and methods. President Donald J. Trump has directed a National Security Council-led interagency review of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that will evaluate whether suspension of sanctions related to Iran pursuant to the JCPOA is vital to the national security interests of the United States. When the interagency review is completed, the administration looks forward to working with Congress on this issue.
Sincerely,
Rex W. Tillerson

It took years to get China, Russia, France and Great Britain all on the same page with Iran. Without all those countries working together, no sanctions will work. If Trump decides to reinstate sanctions, that will likely mean only the US would comply.  Iran can restart its nuke program and no one will bother working up treaties with the US again.

If Trump undoes this it will just be diplomatic vandalism.  If only Rouhani could have 1/2 hour with Trump!
