WAPO: Trump shared highly classified intel to Russians in Oval Office

Broken countries in Africa did not serve as a springboard for the 9/11 attacks and the deaths of almost 3,000 Americans on US soil.

One in the Middle East now serves as the "home" of ISIS, which works diligently to foment lone wolf attacks in the US and Europe. What would the consolidation of an Islamic State encompassing Syria, Iraq and Lebanon portend for the US? And with additional satellites in Libya, Nigeria, Somalia and Yemen?

If both Iran and Saudi Arabia develop nukes, that will not be just their problem.

Our European allies depend on Middle East oil to run their economies, not to mention China, one of our largest trading partners.

Two other countries who might be willing to "deal with the Middle East" would be Russia and China. A US vacuum in the region would be a tremendous incentive and opportunity for them to become super powers, with the backing of many countries who would benefit from the stability. One consequence of that might be that the US needs their permission to continuing trading across Asia, from the Middle to the Far East, and have to play by their rules.

How would a shriveling US economy affect US unemployment? What if another 9/11 style attack were launched upon the US from a country like Syria, but neither Russia nor China would allow the US a military response?
