In the context of his statement, I thought the retort was apt. Sending my tax dollars to an apartheid state infuriates me even more when we cut funding to our programs at home. The population of Israel is treated better by our government than wide swaths of our own. Like it or not, their continued abuse of Palestine fuels global terrorism.
