I think you're greatly exaggerating the excitement a practice facility would bring. The average fan would probably read one article about it, think "that's nice", and then never hear about it again.

The ones who are way too obsessed like most of us on this board may make a bigger deal about it, but it would quickly fade and we'd be back to complaining about mike being cheap and Marvin giggling before you know it
