See, when you are POTUS even when you continue to use your personal twitter account you are still speaking as the POTUS.

I pretty much agree with you overall on this with Trump and his tweets. For me its not what he said, but how it was said.

IMO, the President should not be sending out a simple one line tweet like this very soon after the attack. He shouldnt even be tweeting at all, but that is another topic. If anything, he should have simply tweeted something generic like 'Prayers and sympathies with those in London tonight' and leave it at that.  Then if there is anything more to be said, have a presser on it, release a formal statement, or relay message to Spicer for the next day.
