Or do we want to make this just a private citizen fight that resulted in a death and not an officer going overboard? Off duty, of course.

Because when an on duty officer chokes or shoots a man to death we are told the victim criminal should have just done what he was told. How does that work when an off duty officer kills someone because they wanted to enforce the law?
