Gotta know what you get into if you go to BYU. It's a private religious school.
Even students will get kicked out for sex out of wedlock. Even if you're a star athlete.

It's not like she didn't know about it when she went there. It specifically states they have a ban on not just homosexuality, but on advocacy for homosexuality. Not saying I agree with their decisions, but it's a private religious school. Don't go to it/work for them if you don't want to follow their rules.
It's not like they only enforce their standards when it's convenient, either...
