Again i feel you are being subjective in your analysis in the end stats are the most objective stat to really judge how conservative a team is in a season or period of years. Look at it this way, if a team was conservative in their play calling etc over a season or seasons in comparison of other teams in the league probability says they would be lower in points scored in the league. The stats dont indicate that.
