How many times in those 2 games did they get a chance to actually catch a breather? They're the only reason we were i either of those games (or were for part of the first). There were two broken plays and outside of that they've been pretty solid. When Your offense has 5 turnovers it's hard to give up only 20 points.
Don't get me wrong, I don't think they're a top 5 defense or anything like that but they have played well given the circumstances they've had to deal with.
