$8-9 million for Zeitler would have been an appropriate, fair contract to offer Zeitler and he might not have bothered looking elsewhere if he had received such an offer before hitting FA.

Precisely! People say I wouldn't pay him what the Browns paid him...but DeCastro set the market at $10 million a year.

Had the Bengals offered Zeitler $8-9 million a year...maybe he takes it BEFORE he hits free agency.

We'll never know because the Bengals don't value Guards.
