Macron admits French public would vote to Frexit the EU

The EU is an utterly failed experiment.  The idea of an economic free trading bloc was, and still is, an excellent idea.  Trying to create the United States of Europe is, and will always be, a horrible idea.  We're talking about nations with thousands of years of national identity being asked, actually demanded, to secede their sovereignty to an, essentially, federal governing body.  If they fail to adhere they are threatened with dire reprisals and disenfranchisement.  As is it's become Germany, and to a lesser extent France, imposing their will on other member states.
