I am also kind of lazy and get disheartened with the cyclic arguments that tend to perpetuate.
I agree with the quote, but do not feel that I am sacrificing freedom by not protesting the police having armament.
I've always figured that if they really needed it, they'd be allowed to use equipment from the local National Guard Armory.
So, I never fretted them having a piece or two in their own garage.
Having said that, I am worried about nano-drones that can introduce pathogens into individuals.
