How did having Mexicans available suddenly make teens willing to give up the extra income from a summer job?
Teens are not getting bumped from these jobs by immigrants (or the older people who are working longer than before, or the former higher wage scale workers that had to drop down to minimum wage jobs because they were displaced by technology). Teens are just not applying for these jobs.
