I don't see the EU going down the same path as the Soviet Union.  Where ever do you get that? Because some nations voted on a policy they are still free to reject, that is the same as occupying the Ukraine or invading Georgia??? 

Who is the EU dictator? Can the EU appoint and recall governors of member states as Putin can for the Russian Federation? Do journalists who criticize the EU end up mysteriously murdered?  Which billionaires go to jail and have their property confiscated for crossing Merkel or Macron??
