Neither side gets a pass for being too extreme.  And i don't think Mike Brown has ever said that missing the playoffs is "acceptable".  He made those comments after playoff seasons.

Nope.

He proved with his actions by resigning a coach with back-to-back losing seasons. 

he rewarded it; he accepted it; he's content with it. No other way to spin it.
