I don't think anybody has advocated their religious paraphernalia being put up in any public schools. Why would you ask someone why theirs is acceptable when they never said that?
Public school isn't the place for religion, plain and simple. We aren't "weak minded" or "afraid" of a picture of Jesus. We just don't need religion in general in public school, not just your religion, but any of them.
