Strangely I've never heard of The Revolt in Cincinnati.

It seems that when a poll is done most people are for things that the NRA leadership says is bad.  I believe it is a small but loud minority that allows them to keep it that way.

I've read in other places about the change from sponsoring responsible gun ownership to "you'll pry it from my cold, dead hands"...seems that pendulum got swung and then shot off to keep from going back.
