I would think a mediocre ran team might have a greater chance to luck out, as opposed to a team that flips the switch in all nuances.

My perception of the Bengals is different than yours.  I agree that putting faith in the Browns is clearly a fool's errand until massive evidence to the contrary surfaces, but I also think you give Mike Brown too much credit.
