All CNN did was broadcast it. And since the entire point of the event was to publicize her message I am sure she was thrilled that CNN was there. This was not some speech in the school gym. This was a public even specifically designed to bring attention to the problem.
Then encourage her to come on the air multiple times, showering her with praise and not challenging her views in the slightest.
This is just showering someone who is begging for attention with attention. She is a child who just went through a traumatic experience.
