Exactly. There are things out there that can absolutely be tied directly to high level policy decisions, but most things that happen like this are the result of shitty people being shitty. We need to figure out how to fix the problem. This is why our governor called for his administration to investigate the claims, even though they fall under federal jurisdiction. Since the facility is a state one and we rent beds to DHS for this purpose, he feels that we should be able to investigate the situation and evaluate what should be done.
