The North Carolina Republican Party pulled their support, it says that in the very first sentence in the second paragraph of the story in the OP.
The guy is a whack job and won the primary with one vote...his own.
Ok, not his own and received a total of 824 votes while the other guy received 447. I wonder if the winners family voted for the other guy, lol.
So, are there 824 racists in this district or is it because he was the first name on the ballot or was it because people knew his name or was it because the other guy was worse or a what?
Anyway, this guy won't be a State Rep and most likely won't be voted Dog Catcher but you never know.
